Lunker City's Herb Reed teamed up with the late big bass guru Bill Murphy to design a no-compromise, soft plastic lure for the "stitchin'"
technique that has been responsible for most of the hundreds of double-digit largemouth bass that Murphy had caught.
The Muscle Worm's tapered nose slides around obstructions instead of into them, and the bulbous "egg sack"
deflects off everything it touches, giving the Muscle Worm a natural wandering action while helping maintain its
snag resistance at the slo-o-o-w "stitching" speeds that true giant bass are so fond of.
